of Walking Karlstad is created in the context of the so called peripatetic photography. This is the quiet side of street photography during which attention is given primarily to the state of mind of the photographer and not to the hunting of exceptional phenomena.

An approach to peripatetic photography is the experiential, direct, non-conceptual photography. Peripatetic photography is a good description of my visual working methods that I use, strolling in the urban environment.

For me this is as a form of meditation, wandering as a possibility of emptying the mind as a source of inspiration and creativity. Or just recreational, intuitive photography. This internalization of the attention brings a more sober reading of reality.

The editing is a form of non-linear-narrative composition of images.

Karlstad is the capital of Värmland County, in Sweden. On Karlstad's largest islet, there was a place of counsel called Tingvalla in the medieval age, which had roots from the Viking Age before 1000 AD.
